How to Install UK Streaming on Amazon Fire Stick — Full Guide 2026

The Amazon Fire Stick is one of the most popular ways to watch UK Streaming — plug it into any HDMI TV and turn it into a fully featured smart streaming device. This guide works for all Fire Stick models including the Fire Stick Lite, Fire Stick 4K, Fire Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Cube.

What You Need

  • An Amazon Fire Stick (any model)
  • A UK Streaming subscription — get one here
  • Your UK Streaming credentials from your welcome email
  • A Wi-Fi connection (or ethernet adapter for best results)

Step 1 — Enable Apps from Unknown Sources

Step 1On your Fire Stick remote, go to: Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. Turn on "Apps from Unknown Sources". This allows you to install apps outside the Amazon App Store.

Step 2 — Install the Downloader App

Step 2Press the Home button and go to the Search icon. Search for "Downloader" by AFTVnews. Install it — it is free and available directly in the Amazon App Store.

Downloader lets you install APK files (Android apps) on your Fire Stick, which is how we will install the IPTV player.

Step 3 — Download IPTV Smarters Pro

Step 3Open the Downloader app. In the URL bar, type the direct download URL for IPTV Smarters Pro. The app will download and prompt you to install it. Tap Install when prompted.

Alternatively, on newer Fire Stick 4K Max models, you can search for IPTV Smarters Pro directly in the Amazon App Store without needing Downloader.

💡 Tip: TiviMate is an alternative to IPTV Smarters and many users prefer its interface. It is available the same way via Downloader.

Step 4 — Set Up with Your UK Streaming Credentials

Step 4Open IPTV Smarters Pro. Tap "Add User" then select "Xtream Codes API". Enter the following details from your UK Streaming welcome email:

• Name: UK Streaming (or anything you like)
• Username: your username from the email
• Password: your password from the email
• URL: the server URL from the email

Tap Add User to confirm.

Step 5 — Start Watching

Your channel list will load automatically — usually within 20–30 seconds. Navigate to Live TV in the app and browse through 26,000+ channels organised by category. Use the built-in search to find specific channels quickly.

💡 Pro tip: Add your most-watched channels to Favourites so you can access them instantly from the app's home screen.

Troubleshooting

App won't install: Make sure you have enabled "Apps from Unknown Sources" in Developer Options (Step 1).

Channels not loading: Double-check your server URL is entered correctly with no spaces. Copy and paste it if possible.

Buffering: Try connecting your Fire Stick via a USB-C to ethernet adapter for a more stable connection, or move your Wi-Fi router closer.
